Further education within the scope of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL)
Ambient Assisted Living is a reaction to the increasing amount of elderly people in our society and the resulting need of nursing and assistance, especially in one’s own home. By means of premature attending development of offers in further education and additional qualifications, all AAL-relevant economic sectors shall be enabled to employ appropriately educated employees. The wide range of the newly developed market reaches from assistance systems for a healthy and independent life in old age to support service offers in all stages of life. In order to develop assistance systems successfully and to position and use them on the market, qualifications are necessary that are not yet taught by current training or further education. Through the development of further education and additional qualification offers for those, who work or will work in the in the field of the senior citizen market in future, new possibilities result in innovative orientated providers of further education and organizations, that already operate or will operate in the health and senior citizen market in future.
